Your support for excellent science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) based education programs, exhibits, demonstrations and events helps to fund our mission to educate and inspire! We thank you.
Please consider the following ways to support VASC:
- Annual Fund – This fund allows your unrestricted donation to be used for educational programming, exhibit upkeep and annual operating expenses. We proudly serve our community school children, families and service members with educational, fun and interesting opportunities to learn about the incredible technology based local and national environment in which they reside. Your support helps keep your local museum viable as a non-profit education commodity for our state and nation. Regular state and federal deductions apply for most gifts.
- Opportunity Program – This incredible support vehicle allows you to direct your funding to education programs that benefit low income persons or eligible students with disabilities. The Virginia State Department of Education facilitates this Neighborhood Assistance Act Tax Credit Program for Education (NAP program). The VASC is the only museum in the state currently participating. Your donation to the Opportunity Program allows you to receive Virginia State Tax Credit at the rate of 65% of your donation in addition to state and federal deductions. - Business Marketing Opportunities – Looking to further your marketing reach? Your opportunity to reach over 220,000 education minded individuals is here! Sponsor an exhibit, event, IMAX or specific educational program to target your market. Sponsorship benefits may include your logo or business name on our giant Riverside IMAX theater screen, Settler’s Landing Road marquis, VASC newsletters, email and marketing materials. For specific details regarding upcoming opportunities contact the VASC Development Office.
Cash contributions and in-kind services from individuals, businesses and foundations bridge the gap between earned income and operating costs allowing the Center to maintain and improve education programs, services and exhibitions for our community. Your support is vital to our success.
