March 5, 2010, IS a very important date! That’s when Tim Burton’s Alice in Wonderland opens in 3D IMAX® at the Virginia Air & Space Center. Experience this quirky and zany re-telling of a classic tale for yourself, as visionary filmmaker Tim Burton works his gothic magic over one of the best loved stories of all time. The adventure focuses on Alice, a young girl, who after following a rabbit down a hole, is transported to a strange and fantastic world. There she has wild adventures and meets an outrageous cast of characters including the Mad Hatter, portrayed by Johnny Depp, who has starred in other films by Burton including Edward Scissorhands and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. Burton’s all-star cast also includes Anne Hathaway, Helena Bonham Carter, Crispin Glover, Alan Rickman and Mia Wasikowska as Alice.
