Engineer It! II

July 23, 2018 - July 27, 2018

Grades: 6, 7, 8

Explore engineering from simple machines to complex designs within the world of Rube Goldberg. Take into account multiple physics principles as you build your own Rube Goldberg Machine. From your basic marble run to a high tech “switcheroo,” work as a team to design and build a machine to perform a secret task. Experiment with forces to observe Newton’s Laws of Motion in action. Experiment with the forces of friction to discover how it resists movement as we do work. Meet engineers and learn how they design, implement, and test ideas of their own. Put your know-how to the test… Can you hit your target?
