who is the recent winner of a 2007 Toyota FJ Cruiser. The vehicle, which was
donated by RK Toyota and the Langley Civic Leader’s Association, was the
grand prize in the Virginia Air & Space Center’s enter-to-win contest.
Nearly $15,000 was raised through the sale of entry tickets
and proceeds from the contest will support the
Virginia Air & Space Center’s Education Opportunity Program,
serving underprivileged youth in the community.

Eligibility: You must be eighteen (18) years of age or older at the time of entry. Winner must provide a valid Driver’s License to win. Only one (1) individual may be identified as the owner of any enter-to-win submission. It is the entrant’s responsibility to provide a valid phone number, postal address and e-mail address in order to receive notification of winning. The Virginia Air & Space Center and its agents, vendors, volunteers and members assume no liability for lost tickets.

Prize: The prize to be awarded is a 2007 FJ Cruiser. The vehicle was donated by RK Toyota and the Langley Civic Leader’s Association. There is a one (1) in one-thousand (1,000) chance of winning.

Entries: No more than one-thousand (1,000) tickets will be available for purchase. Tickets are $25 each and can be purchased at the Virginia Air & Space Center’s admissions desk. Proceeds support the Virginia Air & Space Center’s Education Opportunity Program, serving underprivileged youth in the community. All entries must be received by 11:30 a.m. on Monday, March 31. There is no limit to the number of tickets that may be purchased by any individual. Entries are numbered from one (1) to one-thousand (1,000).

Drawing: There will be one (1) prize winner. The winner will be randomly drawn from the total entries on Monday, March 31 at noon at the Virginia Air & Space Center, 600 Settlers Landing Road, Hampton, VA 23669, (757) 727-0900. Winner need not be present at the time of drawing to win. The winning entry ticket must be presented to claim prize. Winners shall be responsible for all federal, state and local taxes, fees, assessments and like charges due associated with acquiring a prize. The winner must pay all applicable sales taxes, registration fees and any desired options that are not listed as standard equipment. The winner is also responsible for paying state or local license, title and registration fees and insurance costs associated with accepting and operating a vehicle.

Notification of Winner: The winner will be notified by phone and/or in writing by the Virginia Air & Space Center within seven (7) days of the drawing. The winner is required to take delivery of the vehicle within thirty (30) days after the drawing date. The winner’s name will be posted on the Virginia Air & Space Center’s website at www.vasc.org. If the Virginia Air & Space Center is unable to contact or locate the winner after a period of sixty (60) days from the drawing date, a second drawing for the vehicle will be made. If after the second drawing, a winner cannot be contacted after a period of sixty (60) days, the prize will be deemed donated to the Virginia Air & Space Center. Reasonable attempts to contact the winner shall be made by phone, postal mail and/or e-mail provided by the winner on their enter-to-win submission. The winner, by accepting the vehicle prize authorizes the Virginia Air & Space Center to publish their name and likeness on the website (www.vasc.org) and to use them in other promotional materials.

Waiver/Limitations of Liability: By accepting the vehicle, the winner releases the Virginia Air & Space Center, RK Toyota and the Langley Civic Leader’s Association and their respective members, partners, vendors, agents, representatives, sponsors, service agencies, and independent contractors, and each of their respective directors, officers, partners, employees and agents, from any and all liability with respect to participation in the promotion of and/or possession or use of the prize awarded and also acknowledge that they did not receive any representations, warranty or guarantee, express or implied, in fact or in law, relative to any prize, including but not limited to its quality, mechanical condition or fitness for use.
