The Virginia Air & Space Center, the official visitor center of NASA Langley Research Center, is one of 14 NASA Visitor Centers and located in Hampton, Virginia, the birthplace of America’s space program. Enjoy a meal or light snack during your visit!

Our Cosmic Café, nestled next to the IMAX Theater features an assortment of seasonal options. The Café serves a variety of quick menu items, such as:

  • Wraps and sandwiches, french fries and onion rings
  • Assorted healthy salads and soups
  • A variety of meals and snacks

IMAX Concessions include favorites such as:

  • Popcorn, nachos, hot dogs, soft pretzels and mozzarella sticks

Don’t forget to take home a souvenir from a NASA Visitor Center! The Virginia Air & Space Center Gift Shop has a variety of NASA-inspired merchandise from t-shirts and coffee cups to models and mission patches!

The Gift Shop features a number of hands-on and minds-on educational toys, books, science kits and more. From flight suits for little astronauts to the latest kit on how to make slime, any visitor can be inspired with something from the Virginia Air & Space Center Gift Shop.

Handicap Access & Parking

The Center is attentive in meeting all the needs of its visitors. Convenient ramps and an elevator allow easy access to all areas and levels of the Center, including the IMAX® Theater. Wheelchairs are available at the Admissions Desk. Please see a visitor service representative for details.

Free public parking is available across the street from the Virginia Air & Space Center.
